- CREATIVE BATHROOMS START WITH LUXALON
The creative potential of Luxalon
aluminium ceilings has been realised to spectacular
effect in a luxury home where the owner has used them
in no less than three of the bathrooms/cloakrooms,
with another two bathrooms currently being designed.
After seeing the collection
at the Ideal Home Show, the client chose Luxalon Ceilings
for the en suite, main bathroom, guest suite and cloakroom
at her property in East Sussex. With such a wealth
of designs, colours and creative possibilities on
offer, she was able to create a ceiling that complemented
the varied themes of each room, from traditional luxury
to minimalist chic.
The mezzanine bathroom features
an oriel window and the brief here was to create a
light and bright sanctuary which was luxurious and
relaxing. The traditional white suite and jade tiles
were complimented by a white high gloss and mirrored
ceiling. The en suite was designed to be a more masculine
affair. Here a brushed steel ceiling was the perfect
foil for the black granite tiles, glass sanitary ware
and brushed steel radiators and taps. The ceiling
also features diagonal panels which have had the effect
of making the room appear larger.
The
ground floor cloakroom is all about texture with Jerusalem
tiles, a granite floor and wavy radiator. A cream
textured ceiling was the natural choice for this area.
All the ceilings feature integrated lighting.
