When
a courier company owner redesigned his kitchen, his
brief was bold designs, clean lines and simplicity.
Luxalon Ceilings from Hunter Douglas
offered the ideal solution in making the kitchen individual,
while being beautifully practical.
For
the house in Leicester the designers from Hunter Douglas
created a matt white ceiling with an accentuating
oval drop feature cleverly mimicking, yet complimenting,
the stunning curves of the red high gloss Italian
kitchen.
The
ceiling feature with its splash of contrasting red
incorporates 4 low voltage down lights and creates
a soft curve connection with both sides of the room.
Aluminium
ceilings are an original and easy way of transforming
bathrooms and bedrooms, kitchens or living areas.
Each ceiling is custom-made, enabling homeowners and
designers to create a unique style and mood in any
space. The designer chose large 150mm panels for this
spacious kitchen and dining area, however smaller
panels are also available to suit even the most minimal
space. The panels can be integrated with many forms
of lighting to create spectacular effects.
Hunter
Douglas offers the ceiling range in a huge palette
of colours and finishes to suit traditional and contemporary
interiors. All the systems are easily fixed to plasterboard
or can be suspended so installation is simple.
Being
condensation resistant, the ceilings are ideal for
kitchens, bathrooms, wet rooms and utility areas.
They can be simply cleaned with a damp cloth and,
unlike plaster ceilings, require no extra maintenance. |
